Little Egypt Grotto Members
The greatest resources of the Grotto is its membership. Several grotto members have been caving
in Missouri and Illinois since the early 1960's. Some members have experience and expertise in vertical caving,
cave mapping, cave locating, cave biology, cave photography, ground water hydrology, geology and biology.
These members are more than willing to answer your questions and share their knowledge with prospective
members and new members.
In addition, several Grotto members have been recognized by both National and Regional Caving Organizations with awards and honors for their devotion to cave exploration and dedicated work on caving endeavors. Likewise, some Grotto members have held and/or currently hold administrative positions in other Regional Caving organizations.
Current fees are $10.00 for NSS members and $15.00 for Non-NSS members. The membership form is simple and painless, but we will ask that you complete it anyways. Contact the Treasurer for a membership form and to make payment.
Our membership year runs September through August. But you may join at any time during the year. You will be eligible for the Grotto pubilication "The Crawlway Courier" for the year you are a member.
